Kosheen discography is a pure legacy who’s is set in stone for sure. A front runner of the electronic music movement – whose roots extend all the way back in late ’90s, when the Bristol-based trio was created, been a fixture in the region. Their music style fluctuate from Drum’n'Bass in their early stage to Trip Hop and Techno and Tech House nowadays. The band still consists of the old format such as producers Mark Davies aka Markee Substance and Darren Beale aka Darren Decoder with female singer and song writer Sian Evans. The band achieved lots of support and massive fame in the early 2000 with their unforgettable track “Hide U,” a pure statement that everyone that remembers Kosheen, it easily remembers “Hide U”. Umek: This is one of those questions that I don’t really like as it’s a bit hard for me to speak about myself. I don’t have a feeling that my life is really so special and interesting for people that it should be covered in the media. I don’t mind talking about the music and the line of my work. I actually like that part, especially if other artists are trying to expand their knowledge and are looking for my opinion, advice or a little bit of help. But I do get annoyed when journalists dig into my personal life too much. Luckily this doesn’t happen too often. Read more
