Matt Hardwick’s “Kill The Lights” label started back in 2008 quickly gaining the reputation of being one of the most exciting new labels on the scene.

Kill The Light’s launched Katy’s production career last year and since then the talented Russian DJ has relocated to the UK and delivered a superb follow up single also featured on the album.

John Newall’s debut release is a track of two very distinct contrasts. Firstly the bassline – there is no hiding from this one! Like a sledgehammer in the face it hits without warning driving the track towards the breakdown with a hint of the melody to come.
When it arrives, the track opens up into a gorgeous piece of melody that sets off the bassline nicely and creates a cool debut track that has been thoroughly and successfully road tested at Newall’s various residencies.

Sean Tyas presents Lift Remixes part 2 on Discover
Part 2 of this stunning Discover re release features the runner up in the remix competition, Darren Porter more than holding his own against three stunning interpretations from Lisa Lashes, Sly One vs Jurrane and Des McMahon.
Darren’s remix moves through the gears perfectly from its tribal beginning right through to the delivery of its trance payload. Lisa Lashes delivers a full on tech trance excursion that also draws clever production influences from techno, electro and dubstep styles.
Sly One vs Jurrane prove they are happy to step out of their comfort zone as their remix sits over a genre busting bottom end of dirty house and techy funk!
Finishing it all off nicely is Des McMahon who stamps his authority on the track with a heady mix of filters, stabs and even some cheeky dubstep all blended perfectly in his own unique style. Read more

Sean Tyas presents Lift released on Discover
In 2006 Discover released a track that would go on to be one of a very small number of tracks that can genuinely be described as a classic.
Sean Tyas’s “Lift” sold literally thousands of units worldwide and helped launch the career of one of the biggest names on the current trance DJ and production scene.
Fast forward five years and the announcement of a re release got everyone excited and ultimately led to a remix competition with over 300 entries.
The package is simply too big to contain on one release so this first part sees Sean’s own Live Rework head up the package – a version which until now has only ever been released on the Trance Pioneers album series and is the version that Sean prefers to play live. Read more
