The Gallery presents Social Deconstruction on Enhanced Music

The Gallery presents Social Deconstruction on Enhanced MusicThe Gallery presents Social Deconstruction on Enhanced Music

The Gallery is world renowned, having provided ‘excellence in the art of sound’ to crazy clubbers for over seventeen poignant years.

Every Friday at London’s iconic Ministry Of Sound, those revolutionary laser tinged sessions have entrenched The Gallery into a life ritual. Showcasing sacred headline acts alongside cutting edge talent, The Gallery is forever amassing a loyal fan base. ‘Social Deconstruction’ reflects why.

With conventional compilations churning out seemingly the same material, Social Deconstruction features The Gallery’s current legends and future heroes. Each with an exclusive track built explicitly from scratch, their Gallery experience has been broken down, analysed and re-constructed in musical form. Riffs, synths and loops lovingly assembled, to represent each artist’s most cherished Gallery memory. From Ministry’s main room debauchery, through to next door’s hectic 103 melange, Social Deconstruction dismantles The Gallery magic into an electronic aural blueprint.

The rush, the crowd, the love, the euphoria. Each part interlocking for that life changing experience, across 24 ground breaking tracks – that can’t be heard anywhere else from the likes of Kyau vs Albert, Tritonal, W&W, Jochen Miller, The Thrillseekers, Ronski Speed, Alex M.O.R.P.H, Manuel De La Mare, Daniel Kandi, Max Graham, M.I.K.E, Stoneface & Terminal, Lisa Lashes and many more!

‘Social Deconstruction is special, having been developed specifically with Gallery fans in mind. It also reflects our forward thinking resolve, which defines The Gallery night from any other. I’d like to thank every artist who has devoted their time and effort. A dedication shared by the faithful week in, week out. For this The Gallery is eternally grateful.’ Gavyn Mytchel (Gallery Resident) Read more

Trance Nation mixed by Cosmic Gate on Ministry of Sound

Trance Nation mixed by Cosmic Gate on Ministry of SoundCOSMIC GATE MIX THE NEXT TRANCE NATION SERIES

LABEL: MINISTRY OF SOUND
RELEASE DATE: 20.02.2012

One of the hardest working duos in dance music, Cosmic Gate are proud to announce they have mixed the latest edition of the prestigious Trance Nation series. Compiling some of their favourite producers, remixers and artists over a 2CD release, Nic & Bossi perfectly capture the future sound of the genre.

Nic & Bossi explain: “It’s an honor for us to be mixing this international, established and influential brand mix series by Ministry Of Sound and be the next ambassador after respected colleagues and friends like Above & Beyond, Andy Moor and Rank1!”

Cosmic Gate’s Trance Nation mix follows their busiest year to date where the guys released their fifth artist album ‘Wake Your Mind’ – peaking at #4 in the USA iTunes dance chart, with album favourite ‘Be Your Sound’ featuring Emma Hewitt still the track on everyone’s lips. Nic & Bossi also released their early years retro-fit album ‘Back 2 The Future’, singles from which took up residence in Beatport’s Top 10 for an extraordinary 3 months straight. 2011 was also the year where the German duo delivered their debut Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1, whilst a global tour kept them busy in between, including domination of North America with 70 shows performed there alone. Ministry of Sound presents Chilled House Session Two

Ministry of Sound presents Chilled House Session 2The first CD begins with Eric Pryda’s brilliant vocal hit, “Niton (The Reason)”, added with a touch of Ministry of Sound flavour on the remixing duties. As the second track, and a club hit favourite, Kaskade & Deadmau5′s “Move for Me” might have been a better choice for an opening chilled compilation but nonetheless a good choice in the introduction.

The album begins to give reasons to move to with Michael Cassette’s mellow electro hit “Summer” which transitions well into the galactic monster Adam K & Soha call “Twilight”. Groove Armada’s remixed track of “History” acts as a medium transitioner to an upbeat Tensnake’s “Comacat”. The Round Table Knights mix is perfect fit for “Comacat”; however, is not a fit-able suitor for the previous track. This is not a reason to stray away. Ellie Goulding’s “Starry Eyed” will have your ears just as star-struck and gives you a chance to get off the couch and chill into a more danceable mode. Read more
