The Gallery presents Paul van Dyk Evolution Arena at SW4 London

The Gallery is a London clubbing institution, having provided ‘excellence in the art of sound’ in the Capital for over seventeen poignant years. Hosting Ministry Of Sound’s flagship Friday nights, those revolutionary laser tinged sessions have entrenched The Gallery into a life ritual. After a year’s hiatus, it’s set to become an SW4 ritual again for 2012!

1. It’s been more then a year since we have last heard from You Claudia. It seemed to be a sure thing that You were going to appear back again in the spotlight because of Your latest achievements. However, what can You tell me all about it ?

Claudia Cazacu: I had a wonderful year, with 8 original releases, 3 remixes and 2 compilations. It’s been great to see my tracks supported by the big guys at their gigs or radio shows. I had a lot of releases on my label Couture that has been also signed to Spinnin, leaving me to A&R. I was lucky to dj in amazing places like Las Vegas, Ibiza at some amazing parties but the biggest achievement of this year was getting a spot in the Top 100 Djs and I am very grateful to everybody out there who supported me. Claudia Cazacu: Your welcome.

2. So tell me, how did You get into the EDM spectrum, being a well known Producer, Remixer and Dj ? How did it all come together ?

Claudia Cazacu: After years of clubbing I decided I wanted to DJ and so set about practicing and learning my trade. Production was the natural step and I’m please to see that my work has slowly got better and better.

3. “Freefalling”… We all know the track, we all love it too, but please tell me about this project along Audrey Gallagher.

Claudia Cazacu: I actually wrote the track over a year ago now. Originally I hadn’t intended to add vocals to it but sent it over to Audrey and she liked it so we took things from there. She has the voice of an angel and loved working with her. Read more
