Shogun set to release four new tracks, including collaborations with Dash Berlin and Emma Hewitt
American DJ and producer Shogun is set to unleash four new tracks this week, including two original productions, a collaboration with Dash Berlin and a remix for songstress Emma Hewitt. Forever slaving away in the studio, Shogun has become one of the top artists in trance music today with fans and DJs worldwide eagerly devouring his original tracks and slamming remixes.
On ‘Callisto,’ Shogun pairs up with Dash Berlin for a melodic, progressive instrumental reminiscent of a summer night. ‘Callisto’ is a stand-out track off of Dash Berlin’s new album, #musicislife, and will be released April 27th on Armada. Pre-order on iTunes
Then there’s Emma Hewitt’s ‘Miss You Paradise’ (Shogun Remix), which won Future Favorite on A State of Trance 556 and will be released on April 30. With Emma’s throaty vocals and a driving bassline, Shogun’s remix of ‘Miss You Paradise’ gives fans the uplifting trancer they’ve been waiting for.
Also releasing on April 30th is a double EP of Shogun’s original tracks ‘Amplify’ and ’550.’ A State of Trance fans will remember that ’550′ was one of the five tracks in the running to become the official ASOT 550 theme song and was runner-up to W&W’s ‘Invasion.’ ‘Amplify’ is a heavier banger filled with techy synths that commands the dance floor while ’550′ takes the beloved elements of ‘Skyfire’ and twists them into an electrifying club anthem. Lange April 2012 updates
Lange is recognised as one of the most influential dance artists of the past decade. A DJ who has remained at the forefront of the scene throughout his career and a producer that continues to push all boundaries.
After an exhausting list of achievements, counting among them 20 UK top 40s, featuring on a film soundtrack, and remixing mainstream artists such as the Pet Shop Boys, Lange remains one of the leading EDM producers. His modern day anthem “Out of the Sky” catapulted to the top of the trance charts, making him one of the top selling trance artists in 2008 and it still remains a ‘never fails’ track for djs and clubbers alike.
With the launch of his artist album, Harmonic Motion, Lange proved yet again why he is considered one of the most accomplished and highly rated artists in the scene. The album received unreserved support from both fans and djs with praise coming from around the globe. The lead single, ‘Live Forever’ with Emma Hewitt, topped the Beatport charts for over a month and the album as a whole consistently found promotion throughout the scene.
Lange has started 2011 on yet another production jaunt with his, dirtier, edgier LNG brand. The first single, Brandalism, was a huge success and saw him tapping into the house and techno fanbase; reaffirming the direction of his artist album. The massive “Harmony Will Kick You in the Ass” followed, the title perhaps becoming one of the most frequently used phrases on the social networks and the track itself shooting into the Beatport Top 10 and Judge Jules’ Tried and Tested on Radio 1. Support came universally and it was undoubtedly one of the tunes of this year’s ASOT500 celebration. Expect a lot more from this dark corner of the Lange studio. Read more

The Gallery is a London clubbing institution, having provided ‘excellence in the art of sound’ in the Capital for over seventeen poignant years. Hosting Ministry Of Sound’s flagship Friday nights, those revolutionary laser tinged sessions have entrenched The Gallery into a life ritual. Tritonal April 2012 updates
After only three short years of united production, progressive trance duo Tritonal has gone from unknown newcomers to one of the top names in the international electronic dance music scene. Currently standing at #83 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs List, Tritonal continues to launch track after track up the Beatport charts and into the sets of some of the most renowned and respected DJs in the world. Their debut artist album “Piercing the Quiet” produced six top 20 Beatport singles, including two that held the #1 position on the trance chart for almost three weeks—’Lifted’ and the ‘Still With Me’ Club Mix.
Such a rapid ascent into the forefront of an ever-changing dance music scene might intimidate even the most seasoned musicians, but the duo who “complete each other’s musical sentences” have captured the hearts and ears of fans and DJs alike. Chad Cisneros and Dave Reed formed this dynamic musical partnership from opposite ends of the United States after meeting online in a sound production forum.
