Tom Rogers is a Certified Audio Engineer, Producer, and Writer for the United States Trance Movement. Fusing elements from spoken word to film score, his live sets thrive on suspenseful, introspective textures. The unification of ambient soundscapes, controlled glitch effects, and orchestral string sections creates a dynamic atmosphere which obscures the lines between musical genres. He has shared DJ lineups with strong international and local talent, including Kyau & Albert, Ronski Speed, Eco, James Gill, Thomas Datt, and Heavygrinder. Tom has received support from blogs including United States Trance Movement, EDM Insider, The Beatmill, and Undrgrnd Sound. Venues he has performed at include Santos Party House, Club LOVE, Morgan Room, and National Underground.
Jonny Zeslawski:
Jonny’s early musical influences were from from his Dad playing the likes of Jean Michel Jarre, Depeche Mode and Pet Shop Boys in the late 80’s/early 90’s.
Music became a huge part of his life and after the Dance Mania craze of ’95 in the UK, he was hooked! As Trance became huge towards the start of ’99. Jonny became heavily influenced by the likes of Ferry Corsten, Paul van Dyk and Armin van Burren.
Using his Dad’s old record deck, another he got from his cousin and a cheap 2-channel mixer, he started DJing in his bedroom using a small selection of records. Early favourites included Fragma – Toca Me (InPetto Mix), Atlantis vs Avatar – Fiji (Lange Remix) and System F – Out of the Blue.
As soon as he was old enough (uh, hmm…) he’d be seen at GodsKitchen most Fridays and PaSSion most Saturdays, listening the the biggest DJs and observing their skills in the booth. Jonny started DJing at pubs, small venues, house parties, birthdays and even weddings; anywhere to get more experience. One of his personal highlights being playing a Trance Classics Set in a 15th Century castle in England – at a wedding! Even the bride had glo-sticks…
Jonny moved to New York in 2015 and his musical style has developed further based on the thriving music scene in Brooklyn and Manhattan. He’d likely describe his style as “anything melodic, with cool beats, driving basslines and awesome riffs that makes people smile and move! I’d say I’m into everything covering Techy-Deep-Progressive-Mel
After a few years putting music on the backburner and playing at house parties with friends at his apartment in Brooklyn, he’s back and you can catch him across New York this summer, performing for Akashic Rift and Inoki Party.

Starting out as a clubber first, I quickly fell in love with the underground dance music scene by religiously going to club events in NYC with friends circa 2001-2002. My first clubbing experience at club Exit (now Terminal 5) was all that was needed to fuel my desire. Music turned into my savior and escape from the real world. The more I went to clubs to hear all genres of underground artists, the more my passion grew. Music became my life 24/7. Then I touched my first vinyl record and was instantly hooked on being in control of the music. I spent countless hours spinning on friends equipment until I decided it was time to get gear of my own.
After years of DJ’ing as a hobby, learning on turntables and transitioning to CD’s, I would spin at friends houses and small gatherings. Then my friends and I started doing some of our own small house parties or renting out a small local hall to play at. We were all music lovers first and although I had aspirations and dreams of making a career from it, I never thought I would have to opportunity to play a live DJ set in a nightclub in NYC. Then it happened. In 2006 I was asked to do an event with a friend and as scared as I was, I said yes. It was a magical night and that opened up some new opportunities which lead to holding residencies at clubs/lounges in NJ, having a long residency at Pacha NYC and doing parties in NYC at China Club.
As things started to peak, everything came to a halt around NYE 2008 where I needed to take a break from DJ’ing to focus on helping my family. My father became ill with cancer, could not work any longer and that lead to my slow fade from the scene. I didn’t think I would be away from it for as long as I was. Fast forward to about 5 years later in July 2013 when my father lost his battle with cancer. It was a tough time for me but my love for music pulled me up off the floor. The only time I was ever felt truly happy was when I had music in my life. It has been and will continue to be my life. My goal and passion are to keep feeling the happiness I get from music for myself and to share that with others.
In 2015 I started to religiously go clubbing again and reintroduced myself to the scene. By October of 2015, I had my first gig after 6 years of being on the shelf spinning a 6.5 hour set. I was nervous to play for people after such a long time away but having old friends their made it a comfortable transition. It was really what I needed. That night opened up new opportunities and I am thankful for being able to do what I love again. DJ’ing is my addiction. There is no other excitement or happiness like it for me. I am looking forward to rocking some more dance floors. I have since opened for Jordan Suckley and Arctic Moon at Cielo. I have played peak time at Pacha as well as having a couple of gigs in Miami during WMC 2016. After WMC I opened for the legendary trance artist Steve Helstrip, aka The Thrillseekers. I recently spun for the Silk Music Label at the Silk Music Showcase #350. It has been a wild road but I feel like this is how it was meant to happen. I am truly grateful to have these opportunities to share my passion. To anyone who has ever been delayed, sidetracked or has lost focus on their passion, I urge you to keep your dreams alive!! Even if you have to put them on hold for a while, as long as you have a great passion for it, you can bring it back to life!!
I am a fusion of new and old school club music from house to trance, ready to turn on a dance floor with bassy music similar to the sounds and vibes that have influenced me along the way.

Tim Robert is a musician, producer, DJ and vocalist whose productions are steadily gaining the attention of the international underground scene. He has released tracks and remixes on respected labels such as Suffused Music, Clinique Recordings, 3rd Avenue, Massive Harmony Records and Just Movement. His April 2016 EP “Reverse Curve” hit #9 on Beatport’s Progressive House Chart. As a live DJ, Tim has played at NYC venues such as Output, Cielo and The Paper Box, and has shared bills with top-tier artists such as Hernán Cattáneo, Cid Inc., Guy Mantzur and Marcelo Vasami. Tim’s live sets aim to create an electrifying, hypnotic atmosphere with powerful, danceable grooves. His monthly radio show “Wavespace” showcases the latest in underground progressive/tech and can be heard every 2nd Tuesday of the month on Proton Radio.

Silicon Syndicate is pleased to bring their latest audio-hallucinatory experiments to Akashic Rift on Thursday, November 17 as they kick off what will surely be another unforgettable night of underground progressive house music and trance at LPR.
Over the last five years as Silicon Syndicate, longtime friends Kent Friedman and Hugh Sharpe have dedicated themselves to the propagation of groove-oriented and melodically-inclined underground progressive dance music tracks and live sets designed for the discerning dance music connoisseur. Psychedelic but not psy-trance, tech-influenced but not exactly techno, Silicon Syndicate defies easy categorization on purpose. Their tracks can take you across multiple genres and back again and their live sets are sure to bring you to a different place at the end than you were at in the beginning, with a lot of interesting twists and turns along the way.
With original releases across myriad top underground progressive labels including Stellar Fountain, Mistique Music, Suffused, Smart Phenomena, Abstract Space, Mystic Carousel, LuPS, Old SQL, BC2 and System Recordings, the Syndicate has slowly built a following and network of collaborators that grows with each passing year. Their collaborative projects have included some of the top producers in the underground progressive sound today and their international influence only continues to gain momentum as 2017 approaches.
Expect a set featuring a selection of Kent and Hugh’s favorite original releases and remixes, carefully crafted to welcome partygoers and prepare the room for progressive house master, fellow Syndicate collaborator and good friend, Mr. Tim Robert.
