Lasgo has dominated the Dance scene for the last decade around the world, especially in Europe. The Belgium-born trio band who acknowledges both fame and pride with several major tracks released one after another, being heavily hammered by TV channels all over the world. The group formed in 2000 and is composed of Jelle van Dael as the vocalist, (after Evi Goffin left the band in 2008, as a result of a change in priorities in life now being a mother) and Peter Luts and Jeff Martens as the producers.
The new Lasgo formed as leading influences polarizes fans with every verse, every move and every punchline. Since Lasgo's first appearance in 2001 with "Some Things" single late that year (before scanning over 25,000 units in retail, it went gold in the charts at that time), they have been the talk of the times. The new image of Lasgo, delivering an official debut nowadays with the single "Lost" along Jelle, being released July 2009, from their "Smile" album a confident perspective that asserts Lasgo's awareness that they are not changing anything, but they try to keep it the same as it was.
With this new appearance remix in 2010, Jordy van Oostveen aka Jordy Lishious tries to add a more Electro-Techno vibe to it's original, poised to follow up their acclaimed single and create a first round EDM sound-a-like as his heroes did before him last year, he is being fortunate to rise high on both counts. Throughout his career, Jordy has had no trouble distinguishing himself as a vicious beat-smith. Now, for his own remix package, the Tilburg, Netherlands native steps in with a doze of Dope & Dirty style, his own style.
His earnest bars and the BPM increase deserve some applause, especially the way he is working with Jesse van Dael's voice and the Groovy beat, merging them two. Jordy still shifts to being as good as others on his own remix, therefore it's difficult not to hold his work accountable to higher standards. He does succeed in pulling out all the stops, and making his proper remix feel as big as any other remixes we have seen from him before, being released on major compilations, such as Cream, Trance Energy, Godskitchen and being notable the names of labels and recording companies he is working with, Ministry of Sound, New State, ID&T, In Trance We Trust and so on, just to name a few.
Fans may also be excited by the production of the track's Radio Edit, we can easily admit this version was made with a specific purpose, one reason and one reason only, to minimize the length of intro (beats and drum) and maximize Jesse's vocals. Like a heavily co-signed stars from the top of the decade, Jordy proves that he can give You two sides of himself and his art: the remix and the radio edit, and as about the one You might like the most, the choice is yours.
