1. Hey Manuel, it is nice to have you back here at TranceSound.net How have you been?
Manuel Le Saux: It’s a pleasure for me to spend time with you again. Everything is going great even if I’m a bit busy with gigs, radio shows and stuff, but I’m happy with this busy life.
2. I understand you have been doing a world tour this past year. Please tell us about some of the places you have visited and about the people who came out to support you.
Manuel Le Saux: Yeah the world tour was and still is great. I’ve traveled all over the world; Australia, which is an amazing, amazing country, Argentina which was great as well and I’m going to play in Mexico next month. No words to describe how warm people were, doesn’t matter where in the planet you are playing, the people who love trance are amazing.
3. Can you tell us about any other international stops you will be making this year?
Manuel Le Saux: As I’ve already said, I’ll play in Mexico next month. Eurofest 2010 is the name of the festival and it will happen in Mexico City. I really looking forward to this event.
4. I have seen that you are familiar with Pioneer technology. Have you tried the new CDJ-2000 or the mixer, DJM-2000?
Manuel Le Saux: I’ve tried the cdj2000 and they are great!!!!! Even if I still prefer the old vinyl. I didn’t try the mixer yet but I bet its awesome.
5. What does your studio consist of nowadays?
Manuel Le Saux: 2 PCs, 1 for Radio Shows and 1 for Producing, 1 Virus TI, a lot of VST and keyboards.
6. Last year, 4 of your remixes were included in the voting for A State of Trance’s Top 20. How does that make you feel and do you think we can expect more in the voting at the end of 2010?
Manuel Le Saux: I can be only happy about this, even if none of them finished in the top 20, But I knew that cause there are a lot of better producers. This year, because of my world tour, I’m producing less than 2009 so there will be few releases from me and I hope for good feedback.
7. Who are some of your favorite producers right now?
Manuel Le Saux: All the producers who make good trance.
8. Are you working on any new productions that you would like to tell us about?
Manuel Le Saux: My new single should be out next months on Flux Deluxe and I hope people will like it.
9. Do you have any new productions planned with other artists?
Manuel Le Saux: Yes, Ferry Tayle , Jorn Van Deynhoven and Astuni.
10. With 3 radio shows, playing out at events and working a full time job, your fans have referred to you as Super Manuel. How do you find the time to get everything done?
Manuel Le Saux: I still don’t know the answer to this question. Maybe the true love for the music.
11. You just played at Luminosity Before the Energy, this seems to be like an annual events for you now. Any idea if we will see you play at Trance Energy in the coming years?
Manuel Le Saux: Only God knows that.
12. What is your most memorable moment as a DJ/Producer?
Manuel Le Saux: Every single party for me is memorable.
13. Anything else you would like to share with the TranceSound.net readers and your fans?
