1. How and when did you firstly start your collaboration with Escade Media ?
Lisa Kensington: I was approached by Escade in 2009. The first big thing we collaborated on was a tour in December across India. Since then I was touring Indonesia, Singapore, India, Japan and Malaysia with them. Very nice!
2. Do you think that it is more easy to be Djane (female Dj) nowadays than it was years ago ?
Lisa Kensington: I think that it is more popular today to see female Dj's which gives girls the courage to do it themselves as compared to years ago it was kinda viewed as more of a "boys thing". I think we can do it same as them, maybe better ;-)
3. What is your next big thing to happen within the EDM world ?
Lisa Kensington: I am scheduled to play in Tokyo in May and very looking forward to it!
4. Any special events or projects that you may well remember with the smile, from last year ?
Lisa Kensington: I was recently named a "rockstar" in the title of an Asian magazine interview that ran.. that was fun!
5. What is your plan for the future as an Djane/Producer ?
Lisa Kensington: I plan to produce a track this year, we have the vocal, it is coming along.. I am also working on a "Dj lisa kensington" limited edition collection of handbags under the "Figaro" Handbags by Accessoir (Accessoir LLC® - Home) all music inspired of course.
