1. How and when did you firstly start your collaboration with Escade Media ?
Hera Salinas: Roy "Lexx" Alexander asked me end of 2009 to start collaborating with Escade Media on a global scale. Since then, I appreciate working with Escade Media very much as you don't find such professional and reliable partners in this business very often.
2. Do you think that it is more easy to be Djane (female Dj) nowadays than it was years ago ?
Hera Salinas: I think you have to make a brand of yourself to distinguish between you and others and to live your USP (unique Selling Proposition) as there are more and more female DJs around. This aspect has made the competition harder over the past years on the one hand but on the other hand female DJs are much more accepted by the audience than it used to be 5 years ago for instance.
3. What is your next big thing to happen within the EDM world ?
Hera Salinas: The next big Hera Salinas thing is my upcoming Asian tour in April and May this year - Great venues, great countries, great people. I am looking forward to that very much.
4. Any special events or projects that you may well remember with the smile, from last year ?
Hera Salinas: Puh, there are several - I always like the Fête Blanche in Austria which features a lot of really talented DJs and the crowd dressed in white is always fantastic.
5. What is your plan for the future as an Djane/Producer ?
Hera Salinas: Exploring every musical corner of the globe I would say - and when I have finished with that let's go over to planet Mars. :-) - No, honestly: Making my fans happy with offering great Dj sets to them puts a smile on my face and I am keen on continuing to do that. More own music productions are to be expected as well. And maybe some other surprises too... :-)
