Sea to Sun / Loverush Digital welcome trance heavyweight Alex M.O.R.P.H. to the label and step it up a gear with yet another massive release. Fresh from remixing global dance superstars Faithless, M.O.R.P.H. now prepares to drop "Sunset Boulevard" his next future trance classic.
Alex M.O.R.P.H. has filling dancefloors since 2000, thanks to his dazzling talents, both in the studio and behind decks. His career to date is filled with an impressive list of achievements, from huge co-productions with the likes of Paul van Dyk and Rank 1, through to legendary Dj sets at Cream Ibiza and festivals worldwide. Now with the forthcoming release of "Sunset Boulevard", M.O.R.P.H. proves once again why his name is synonymous with quality trance.
The original mix is pumping, euphoric trance at its best. The track has been constructed to take the roof off the main room in the world's biggest and best clubs and it doesn't disappoint.
The vocal is from singer / songwriter Ana Criado. Her deliberately fragile delivery adds real atmosphere to the track and sends shivers down the spine every time her voice emerges from the speakers, adding to the already euphoric production.
S2S / LRD do what they always do and provide a remix package that sets the standard. This one however, is extra special...
M.O.R.P.H.'s standing in the trance community is underlined as trance superstar Paul van Dyk steps in to prove he's still master of the dancefloor, with a stunning remix; both melodic and beautiful, but with an underlying tougher edge. Russian rising star Ilya Malyuev, ably demonstrates his skills delivering a chunky, progressive trance mix and backing it up with a more understated "Sunset Dub" which sounds equally suited to Sunrise! S2S / LRD favourite Timothy Allan takes things back into progressive house territory with a quality, uplifting mix that just keeps on building, dropping into a dreamlike breakdown. Sted-E & Hybrid Heights prove their credentials once again with a striped back progressive groove highlighting their trademark intricate beats and rhythms. 2010 will be a big year for these two. Loverush UK! step up to show exactly how to create a lush, dancefloor moment as they highlight the vocal beautifully before dropping back into a bouncing trance groove that will have the floors rocking.
