    After the huge success of our first event, Mid-Atlantic Trance is proud to present Mike Koglin at Love on Saturday, May 30th, 2009.

    Mike Koglin burst onto the scene in 1998 with his club anthem and UK top20 hit 'The Silence', which put Mike firmly on the map as one of the key players in dance music. Since then the Grammy-nominated Producer, Remixer and DJ has has released a constant string of critically acclaimed productions and remixes, earning him overwhelming support from the industry's most recognized artists such as Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, Above & Beyond or Paul Van Dyk. With forthcoming singles to be released on Anjunabeats, Noys Music and Intuition Recordings Mike Koglin is clearly one of the biggest and most consistent producers in the trance genre to date.

    Mike has seen comparable success behind the decks - having landed inside the DJ Top100 this year at #87.

    Mid-Atlantic Trance is a promotional group founded by two fanatic trance fans, Ali Mahmud and Sean Reed. Our goal is to bring top quality trance DJ/Producers to New York, and help showcase some rising local trance talent. We are hoping to help trance grow in New York by creating great events for fans of the genre, and at the same time hope to attract new fans.

    Love is the new kid on the block in the Greenwich Village club scene. Located on the ever-hip 8th street, the club's mission is “music is love.” While these and other slogans serve up a fair amount of cheese, Love is actually a great club. It promotes new music and can be counted on booking top DJs from across the country. There is an overall positive vibe, as the promoters have an honest appreciation for innovative new music and parties to celebrate it. The crowd is a mix of downtown hipsters, hip hop kids, and the occasional celeb, all having a hard time not being compelled to dance.
