1. I well remember the previous exclusive interview You had for TranceSound.net back in the days, it feels like it was few weeks ago thou, therefore please tell me how have You been so far, musicwize and what EDM preserved/archived from You lately ?
Tenthu: Yeah it is been two years ago but seems like time lasted much quicker :) I was working hard on remix duties and my original tracks. Also I am still working on my artist album, which is not finished yet but I am planning to finish it till the end of spring or summer of this year. Also helping to make tracks engineering now to some young producers and working on some TV commercials. No time to relax!
2. So recently, I just got a copy of this dope EP you did, called "Disco Craze". Tell us more about that.
Tenthu: It is a progressive house tune with some elements of tech and deep house. It is not signed on any record label yet, but I think it is just a question of time. It perfectly works on dance floors and I am planning to make some more tracks like this.
3. In terms of productions, please tell me what are the last 5 tracks, that includes remixes as well You are working at.
Tenthu: Last two remixes produced by me I love very much were: "Thomas Coastline - After Hour" (it has got a huge support from top DJs from all over the world) and my remix of "Chance Jumper - Hot Dog" which was out on Bonzai a month ago. Currently I am working on remixes for Thomas Coastline (again, but for UK based label "Unearthed Records"), for Martin Pritchett, for Eric Flash from Russia and for Smu[th] Music's duo – Prayag & Rishab.
4. Talking about Your personal show on AH.fm please tell me who do you have on Your list for future appearances ?
Tenthu: Actually I cancelled all guest appearances in my show. Only two hours of trance of progressive mixed by me, but I hope my friend Capsula will make one and the last this month (April 2009) as he is back in business (you should remember his legendary remix of Essencia) and we are also planning to finish our collaboration tune soon.
5. Please, tell us about your new side project "Slimheticz". What music do You plan to release under this name ?
Tenthu: It is almost forgotten guys. I used that for some electro-house productions in 2006-2007. Now I produce all my main styles under one alias which is Tenthu.
6. Why did You take "Slimheticz" and "Tenthu" for your names ? What are the meaning ?
Tenthu: Well, I won't say what Tenthu means, you and readers may laugh so let it just be a little secret, ok ? It's a combination of two English words. As for "Slimheticz" – it really means nothing, I just loved this word.
7. What do You think about collaborations with other artists ? Do You plan to create any tracks with somebody ?
Tenthu: Yes, there are some. There are a lot of vocal tracks are coming up, such as collaborations with my friends Frase, Martin Pritchett, Thomas Coastline, Russian guitarist Elvenfox and some others.
8. You re a producer first, therefore DJing is a second thing for You in Your musical life but could You remember the most amazing gig in Your career ?
Tenthu: There were a lot of amazing gigs in my life and nearly all of them presented perfect emotions and impressions to me, and that's why I can't name any. I think my most amazing gig is still being in future :)
9. What technical stuff do You use to create music ?
Tenthu: Logic Pro 8 + Mac + Event TR6-e control monitors + Evolution keyboard and professional EMU interface. Honestly, that is all I need now.
10. What do You like except music and how do You prefer to spend your free time ?
Tenthu: I love to travel. It's the second thing in my life that brings me great mood except music. Also I'm a cinephile – I try to watch ever movie being released in theaters. And of course there is no doubt I am a fan of women haha
11. There a lot of different variations of musical styles. If we talk about trance it may be uplifting, progressive, tech and so on. What style is the main one in your productions ? How will it change in the nearest future ?
Tenthu: I am an Uplifting Trance producer first and hopefully I will never be able to leave this style. And after, it is Progressive Trance, Progressive House are my main styles of producing. Now I stopped at this point.
12. What is the highest point You achieved for this moment and what point do You really want to get ?
Tenthu: Well, I have got a definite level of popularity and fame in my own country as a deejay and producer and around the world. I just want to grow higher and higher to the top. It's an evident thing. And I will do everything to make this happen.
13. Thank You very much for your time mate, I know You are a very busy man so before we wrap up this exclusive interview, feel free to let us know where we can hear more of Your music.
Tenthu: Cheers buddy! Thank to you. More info about new tracks and remixes, gigs and some other things you may find on my Myspace page.
