    FRED BAKER
    NEVER FORGET HOLLYWOOD FAIRYTALES
    LABEL: PIAS RECORDINGS
    RELEASE: OUT NOW!

Hailing from Belgium, Producer and DJ Frédéric De Backer AKA Fred Baker has been creating and developing his trademark melodic Trance sound since he was a teenager. After his massive Ibiza track Mystery Land was signed to Pete Tong’s London Records, Fred continued to release quality productions for Vandit. Eternity and Graphite Records and become a remixer in demand, making famed re-rubs for the likes Tiësto, Liquid Overdose, Sinead O’Connor, Timo Maas, and Lost Witness to name a small selection.

"Never Forget / Hollywood FairyTales" is his debut artist album and features a different approach CD1 titled Never Forget consists of ten upfront club tunes in this producers own imitable style. The opening track Gregoria is high energy yet atmospheric with dramatic breakdowns featuring choral samples. Sunshine and Never forget continue to steer the CD with fast drum patterns and lush synth pads, whilst the pounding rework of Forever Friends continues to propel the album into a frenzied state of euphorica.

CD2 dubbed Hollywood Fairytales is a collection of thirteen chill-out tracks, perfectly highlighting Fred Baker’s diversity as a producer and is a useful aid to calm everyone down after CD1! Victory is a serene track with piano melodies and strings that wouldn't’t look out of place in a Moby album. There is a chilled mix of Forever Friends (featured on CD1) that perfectly highlights Fred Bakers talent to effortlessly traverse a multitude of different genres. S.W.A.T - an upbeat breaks tune and Genious Touch a guitar based dance track, both briefly taking the album into another direction alongside Chemical Dreams however these sit next to the tranquil Asian Fever and Tears of The Rising sun which keeps the variety and pace of the album appealing and innovative.
