On Wednesday, 11.06.08, all Yaroslavl was waiting for the dj, who had never visited this city. People could pre-buy tickets for 150 roubles ($6). At the night their cost was 300 roubles ($12). Bobina played in a club called “Joy Party”, which is situated on the bank of Volga river (very beautiful sight). Capacity was not very large, 100-300 people only, but all this space was filled by clubbers. The club was open since 23:00. Resident of the club (Dj Andrew) played before Bobina for the warm up. He played house music. At the appointed time, 1:00 AM, Bobina appeared on the stage. He gave his album “Again” to people who pre-bought tickets. One moment and.. he began to explode the dance floor. At first he played in his set more progressive compositions and at the end he reserved the time for real trance bombs (see the tracklist). People suggested every track he played.
Dmitry Almazov aka Bobina not producer only, he is also a very good dj. Before this night I listened to him only at big dance festivals. There he didn't’t experimented hard. In the club he experimented very hard and did all he wanted. He stopped some moments, used reverse and did a lot of other dj-things with tracks (he played by CD). Public reacted very joyfully. Dmitry played for about 2 hours, making clubbers moving. On this party he presented his new album “Again”, but he almost didn't’t played tracks from it. It may be strange for you, but in our Russian clubs melodic uplifting trance is not very popular and Bobina understand that. At the end of performance Dmitry came to edge of the stage and thanked all and also threw his towel. Yaroslavl had not ever felt such atmosphere and people of Yaroslavl are waiting for him “again”.
