IRC (Internet Relay Chat) is a virtual meeting place where people from all over the world can meet and talk; you'll find the whole diversity of human interests, ideas, and issues here, and you'll be able to participate in group discussions on one of the many thousands of IRC channels, on hundreds of IRC networks, or just talk in private to family or friends, wherever they are in the world.

NOTE: To use IRC you need a small program like mIRC, an IRC client for Windows, written by Khaled Mardam-Bey. mIRC is a friendly IRC client that is well equipped with options and tools. mIRC is shareware, which means that you can download mIRC and try it out freely for 30 days to evaluate it. If during, or at the end of, the evaluation period you decide that you would like to continue using mIRC, you must register your copy.

    1) First of all, you have to download an IRC client / program / software called mIRC, since is the best commonly used on Windows. You can download it from the main official web site: http://www.mirc.com ( here you will also find further information and also further procedures about it )

    2) After you have install and register (or simply click 'Continue' for your 30 days trial version) a popup window will appear. Fill in those 4 blank fields, as in nickname, E-mail address etc. Further, you have to proceed connecting yourself to an IRC server, mainly called network, this time we are talking about Mixxnet (http://www.mixxnet.net). Just click on the second button on your left side, the one just next to 'Connect to IRC Server'. There, you will have more servers to connect to, in order to get connected to a Mixxnet server, try to connect yourself to /server irc.mixxnet.net and once is done, click on 'Connect to IRC Server' button in order to connect.

    3) Once connected, another popup window will appear, where You have to introduce your desire channel name, and just click 'join'. All these information from above, it have to be followed once, as long the second time, You only have to connect yourself and click on the third button from left to right, that appears as (#) gate symbol, called 'Channels folder'.

    4) To make it even easier for You, once You already have the IRC client installed on Your system, such as: mIRC, XChat or anything same as these 2, it can make Your life easier if You just double click HERE to connect, so that will redirect You straight to channel #TranceSound @ Mixxnet the TranceSound.net official IRC channel thou.

› TranceSound.net channel on mIRC: Most common channels related to TranceSound.net are as follow: #TranceSound and #SenseGenerateFM (English ONLY).

P.S. - If you have problems connecting yourself, just send me a message: help !
