Series Choice
Format 2 x CD Album

Description THIS ITEM WILL BE AVAILABLE TO BUY FROM THE 16TH JAN 2007 AHEAD OF IT'S 29th JAN 2007 RELEASE DATE!

With the Choice series being compiled by the biggest and best DJs and producers of our time - it was long overdue that an icon like Roger Sanchez should be persuaded to share his classics with us. Here the S man has created a double CD filled with funk, jazz, italo disco, salsa, electro, deep and twisted house and more. It showcases seminal tunes and highlights gems that have influenced countless tracks and artists in the years that followed their release.

With no fewer than 6 exclusive re-edits by Roger, it makes for a very distinguished twelfth release in this stellar series. CD1 is a lounging, sprawling mix filled with 1970s warmth – featuring the underground disco vibe of Two Man Sounds ‘Que Tal America’ and Lafayette Afro Rock ‘Darkest Light’ which is undoubtedly funk in its best form. CD2 includes the acid anthem ‘Night Moves’ by Rikster and the gritty synth techno quality of Steve’ Poindexter’s ‘Computer Madness’.

Roger has enjoyed a rich career that has seen him remix such luminaries as Daft Punk, Diana Ross, The Police and Chic amongst others. Roger also writes and produces his own original material and has had chart success with ‘Turn on the Music’ and ‘Lost’ and a number one hit single with ‘Another Chance’

The Choice series itself explores dance music’s most famous DJs and what they consider to be their all time classic tracks. It’s a chance for them to communicate their own music history and feature tracks that have inspired them over the years to form the foundations of who they are today.

THIS CD ALSO CONTAINS 6 EXCLUSIVE RE-EDITS BY THE MAN HIMSELF MADE ESPECIALLY FOR THIS ALBUM!

YOU CAN ALSO BUY ALL 6 EDITS ON 2 SEPARATE 12" VINYL IN THE SINGLES SECTION.

You can check out all the tracks in the selection below.

This CD is officially released on the 29th JAN 2007.
