1. First and foremost, do you prefer being addressed as Terry Ferminal, or your former alias Mark Sinclair; and why the change in artist name through the years ?
Terry Ferminal: Well my family and friends call me Mark, and the Terry name started as a joke. but i will continue to release music under both my own name and the Terry Ferminal alias.
2. At what age did you first begin producing; and if you don’t mind can you tell us what age you are now ?
Terry Ferminal: I started learning/writing music at 14, and produced my first proper track when i was 15, and i recently turned 27
3. What do you feel about the EDM scene in the United Kingdom ?
Terry Ferminal: There are some truly awesome producers here at the moment, very healthy!
4. In addition to producing, do you also DJ ? If so, which do you prefer more ?
Terry Ferminal: Yes Dj-ing is a lot of fun, but my passion will always be in the creation of music!!
5. Do you have any future plans to collaborate with other artists or vocalists ?
Terry Ferminal: That is a possibilty, I will always keep my options open.
6. So I hear that you were previously in a rock band, how did that experience shape the path of your career and would you like to tell us more about it ?
Terry Ferminal: Yes definitely, it was great experience for me, i think it helped enormously in the way I think about music now.
7. Do you listen to other genres of music besides EDM, and if so can you name some of your favorite artists ?
Terry Ferminal: Absolutely, my all time favourite artists are David Bowie, John Lennon, Freddie Mercury, Sting, Tom Petty, Pink Floyd, E.L.O, Jimi Hendrix, Iron Maiden, Michael Jackson, the list goes on...
8. What was your most successful track to date ?
Terry Ferminal: I think so far it has been "deep Inside", it seems to have opened some doors for me.
9. What inspired the thought and lyrics behind the track “Deep Inside” ?
Terry Ferminal: An ex-girlfriend.
10. Were the lyrics for the track “Deep Inside” written by you as well; and who was the vocalist on the track ?
Terry Ferminal: Yes, i wrote and performed the lyrics myself.
11. You have been supported by numerous artists and are receiving massive airplay on shows such as “A State of Trance”; how does that feel ?
Terry Ferminal: Quite unbelievable actually, as I never really expect anything at all, its a great feeling to know that people like the music!!
12. Is there any other news you would like to share with us regarding any projects you are currently working on, or any other comments to address your fans ?
Terry Ferminal: Yes, I now have a radio show which can be heard on the 1st tuesday of every month at Sense.FM and I would like to thank everyone who has supported me over the past few months, it has been fantastic to say the least!!! Thanks. Thanks Zaneta!! All the best!!
