1. Who came up with the nickname Nikki Haddi ?
Niklas Harding: Actually its a little intern joke, it was Paul Moelands aka Re:Locate who came up with that name.
2. What does your set up consist of ?
Niklas Harding: My Dj setup is Pioneer DJM-600 mixer and 2x CDJ-800 CD players.
3. Which do you prefer more, production of DJing ?
Niklas Harding: Both has good things about it. The production you can really concentrate, relax in the studio and get into the music. The djing, you can go crazy in the dj botoh, and see a club filled with thousands of people enjoy what you love the most, thats a very special feeling.
4. What vocalists or other producers would you like to work with in the future ?
Niklas Harding: Vocalists I would say Jes Brieden from Motorcycle, she has an amazing voice. Production wise, it would have to be Andy Moor, as he has been the biggest inspiration when it comes to my production side of things.
5. Can you tell us anything about any of your current projects ?
Niklas Harding: I just finished a remix named Adrian Ivan - Before Sunset (Niklas Harding remix), and I have a few more remixes in the pipeline, and hopefully soon getting started on a new production on my own to.
6. Are you still currently living in Denmark ?
Niklas Harding: Yea, I live in Copenhagen, Denmark.
7. Any plans to tour overseas ?
Niklas Harding: I have a trip to Asia, in May, really looking forward to that.
8. Who were some of your influences in the music industry ?
Niklas Harding: I know it sounds cliche, but from the start Tiesto was. And I still think today hes one of the few trance Dj's that are capable of building up an awesome set from start till end.
9. Aside from musical project what other things are you currently working on and plan to do in the future ?
Niklas Harding: Currently I study economics at the university, so that takes up a bunch of time to. And who knows about the future, hopefully do what i love, produce and play music for people around the world.
10. What effect has trance and electronic music culture had on you personally ?
Niklas Harding: It has a a big effect on my life in general. Its a big part of my daily life, and i only see that as an advantage.
11. What would you like to say to aspiring young trancers and dancers in the world today, (like myself)? The youth listeners today ?
Niklas Harding: Follow your own feeling to the music, and dont just do what everybody else does. Its all about being unique, and having your own style.
12. How do you think the trance generation of today can bring about change in society, thought, views, what needs to happen ?
Niklas Harding: Music has always brung people together, and events and clubbing experiences will make more people happy, so im just keeping fingers crossed that more and more people, will get their eyes up for electronic dance music. Instead of the regular MTV crap.
13. What made you to name your record ''Niklas Harding pres. Arcane - Ice Beach'' ? because it sounds so good as a name and track too ?
Niklas Harding: Actually it was just a mixture of brainstorming some cool words, and it ended up with two things you normally dont see together, ice and a beach.
