1. Who is Justin Beats ?
Justin Beats: Hi everyone, my name is Andrew Ortega, I live 2 worlds, in one, I am a electronic music producer and Dj and in the other life, I am a software developer, and system administrator. I love music abd Djing, I consider myself as a good, honest, sincere person. I don't like lies. Practically, I let people judge me, and then realize who I really am.
2. Since when and for how long have you been in the electronic scene ?
Justin Beats: Oficially since 2005, but I started to move in the Dj area since 1999. When I was 15 years old, I started working in a local radio station in the Dominican Republic, with a genre called "Reggaeton".
3. Did You ever play other genres of music beside electronic ?
Justin Beats: Yes, I started with "Reggeaton" which contains influences from Jamaican and Panama music.
4. What do You feel when You`re playing electronic music to the crowd, how do they respond ?
Justin Beats: I feel as if I were flying in the sky, It's a unique sensation. The crowd loves what I do, and people flattering me make me feel awesome. They always wish me luck and succes and offer me their unconditional support in my career.
5. I heard that you are working on several tracks... can You share some information about it ?
Justin Beats: Yes, I'm currently working on 3 tracks
6. Tell us something about the EDM scene in Dominican Republic.
Justin Beats: Electronic music in the Dominican Republic grows constantly, today there are Dj's that have a really good music selection. We have also had some great DJs like Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold, Tiefscharf, Steve Bug, and others.
7. Do you have your own studio ?
Justin Beats: You could say so, a Home-Studio
8. What are your favourite records of this time ?

9. What kind of music do you listen to when you’re at home or in your car ?
Justin Beats: Electronic music, trance, electro, minimal, and sometimes soft music.
10. What can we expect from you in the near future ?
Justin Beats: A very euphoric production and a lot of excellent perfomances.
11. What events, people, etc., specifically, prompted you to want to meet this ?
Justin Beats: Shows and performances always called my attention, so did a lot of DJs and rap artists, then I saw the electronic genre and I told myself this was definately made for me.
12. What effect has dance music culture had on you personally ?
Justin Beats: Electronic music helped me discover a talent that I had in me and I had to recieve a sign to get it out and go for it.
13. How do you think the electronic music generation of today can bring about change in society, thought, views, what needs to happen ?
Justin Beats: Electronic music represents technology, that day by day, advances and gives a lot of things to humanity. The sounds of electronic music help you discover the person you really are if you pay attention really closely.
