1. Who is this Altuna and from where are You coming from ?
Altuna: I was born in January, 18 1983. I am a Trance DJ & Producer from Jakarta, Indonesia. I was been dying for Electronic Dance Music since 1995, but time goes by for my interest for electronic music grew more and more. After exploring lots of EDM, I fell in love with a heavenly & soul taking genre, TRANCE. I am also an A&R of 88 Music Indonesia too.
2. When did You start Djing and are You involved in producing also ?
Altuna: At the late 2003, I began to pour his passion in music production; also bought a very producer program called Fruity Loops. After creating some tunes, I was interests for DJ'ing also developed and I have bought 2 Pioneer CDJ800 and 2 Technics Turntable and also a mixer of Pioneer DJM600. After lots of practice, I had proved myself entering the top 4 Heineken finalist in Indonesia and Nominated as one of the Best Trance DJ, Junior DJ, Track Of The Year 2007 in the biggest DANCE MUSIC AWARDS in Indonesia www.redma.net and www.ravelex.net I has also been signed by Trance Tribe Recordings Australia, Total Digital UK/ Bonzai Rec. I am now progressing my producing by switching from PC to MAC with Ableton Live 6.0.5. Watch for this 2007 Superb releases.
3. What is Your favorite gig ?
Altuna: Lots of gigs are my favorite, specially rave gigs are the best.
4. Which is the best club where You will return to spin with pleasure ?
Altuna: CENTO, Jakarta www.centrojakarta.com !!
5. What musical genre You listen beside trance ?
Altuna: I do listen to Mandarin & J-Pop
6. What is Your main inspiration source ?
Altuna: It is because I love EDM too much, I always feel a sound that had not been created. So I have started to grab some software and go for it.
7. What was Your first set/track which You played and where ?
Altuna: My very first gig was at a small lounge & bar called Venue. The first track I have ever drop in the public was "Age of love (Cosmic Gate remix)"
8. Do You play other genre beside trance ?
Altuna: Yes, I like hard dance & techno.
9. What is the hardest mix/remix which You ever made ?
Altuna: Its all depend on my inspiration, if there is no inspiration there is nothing can be done on music.
10.What is Your most favorite artist ? All times
Altuna: This is not because he is number one, Paul Van Dyk!
