Interview with Dj Orkidea
Around same time last year, most of the people I know were asking themselves what have happen’ with Tapio Hakenen aka Dj Orkidea, the best Finnish export in terms of latest gigs, records and other projects that have shaped him the artist he is nowadays. Not so many of us knew what he was working on, therefore, we had to dig a bit further just to find out that he was literally in his studio working around the clock on his new album. From a production prospective, Holland has an array of awards from Mixmag’s “Compilation of the Month” to several “Tune of the Month” praises. Since 2005, he has made an excellent effort in supporting trance music one tune at a time. Further more, he needs no introduction to whom he is or what his aspirations are since we know already that he is leading the Trance scene already. This is not a typical exclusive interview that I am normally conducting but due to their busy schedule in the studio, I had to start sending the questions to them and they had to create an audio file on it, therefore, here’s the final out come of what they did came up with, in relation to my list of 21 questions I had for them in particular.
