Midnight Star presents Dark Emotion on Pulsar Recordings
The Serbia’s one and only trance record label, Pulsar Recordings is pushing things at the moment. They’re giving away for free their latest release as they have reached more then 5.000 YouTube subscribers and 1.000 Facebook fans in less than a year of it’s running (founded in March 2011), which is quite the accomplishment considering the non-existence of trance scene in their country.
After the M.E.D.O.’s Love in Motion now it’s time for Midnight Star’s Dark Emotion. We got familiar with this guy on that previous M.E.D.O.’s release, where he successfully remixed the Love In Motion with a fine electro trance dubstep fusion, if we can call it that way, but now we’re in for something totally different then that, something more emotionally dark and more uplift. Interview with Dj Orkidea
Around same time last year, most of the people I know were asking themselves what have happen’ with Tapio Hakenen aka Dj Orkidea, the best Finnish export in terms of latest gigs, records and other projects that have shaped him the artist he is nowadays. Not so many of us knew what he was working on, therefore, we had to dig a bit further just to find out that he was literally in his studio working around the clock on his new album. None of us knew the album’s name, or else when it due to be released, so we all had to wait for any updates in relation to this. Time went by, pretty fast and I have ended up with an official PR (Press Release) from one of the people I am working with, that Tapio released his latest album called “20″, a double decade of music and joy, therefore I knew it has to be something special and it is indeed. With that being said, the first thing i had in mind was to establish an encounter with him, so with that being said, just read below for any further details that showcased his musical point of view and so many other information in terms of latest projects and stuff he has in the pipeline in the near future too. She always wanted to be a dancer, She enjoyed dancing to the lovely sounds of progressive house and trance. Although she listened to EDM for many years, she never had a desire to DJ. Years passed and a couple of knee surguries later, she decided to focus on becoming a DJ and ending her dance life.
The transition from just dancing to the music, and wanting to play it instead, was a slow one. For a couple of years when she was learning on turntables she ended up turning them on only once every month or two. In January of 2010, something changed for her. She started playing a few times a week and she loved it. Read more
