1. You recently dropped your “Rocket Ride” album; so tell me the type of feedback you have been getting from your peers and fans ?

Bobina: The feedback from trance related people is great – really happy they liked the CD!

2. So with the success and the buzz you have been creating for yourself with your last album, would it be possible to say that a remixed version will be up next ?

Bobina: I have a better idea . Nowdays everyone release Remixed version. Thats why i’ll go different way. Its a secret for now

3. It’s been a couple of years since you jumped on the music scene with your second album “Again” to your new album “Rocket Ride” so tell me what was the process like for you going into your third album compared to your previous one ?

Bobina: I think Rocket Ride is the most trance album. I even did away with a few of vocal tunes to make it more clubby and to give people extended versions.

4. Besides having so many in common with Yuri Gagarin, what prompted you to dedicate this album to what have happen’ 50 years ago ?

Bobina: To be honest I had a tune “Rocket Ride” in the album before I decided to name the album. So when I had a final master – I remembered about that anniversary – and decided with a tittle.

5. One of my personal favourite records from the album has to be “You Belong To Me” along with Betsie Larkin, so I wanted to know if you had any thoughts about doing a new track with her any time soon

Bobina: Maybe – if we’ll have a good idea – we for sure will do this.

6. With so many top notch tracks in one album such as “Visible Touch,” or else “You Belong To Me” and even “Angel Of The North” featuring Sabrina Altan, is there a good sign in relation to sales going high ‘above the sky’ ?

Bobina: To be honest i prefer not to think about sales. I did this album for the music – for myself and for trance fans. It doesn’t even sounds like it was made for money. The previous CD “Again” we sold over 45 000 copies in Russia – mostly cause of more commercial sounding music and some radio records here in Russia. This one i prefer to be ‘club album’.

7. With the third album did you feel any pressure because your singles “You Belong To me” and “Angel Of The North” were so big and so well supported by the radio, internet and fans all over ?

Bobina: In Russia Angel of the North was much bigger than You Belong To Me. Probably cause YBTM has more trancy sound. But i think that music video for You Belong To Me is better. you can check both on YouTube channel

8. Is there any artist that you haven’t worked with yet that you really want to get into the studio with ?

Bobina: I think maybe Ferry Corsten – he did a remix for Invisible Touch but we never worked in the studio together.

9. Since your music style has been changed quite a bit lately, who would you say inspires you the most musically ?

Bobina: Somewhere between progressive and trance. I would say like that

10. With the 2011 late summer approaching what should everyone be on the look out for from Bobina ?

Bobina: I’m sure there gonna be quite busy summer first of all in Russia and in the US.

11. Your most recent project out now is “Lamento Sentimental” so let’s talk about that for a moment

Bobina: This tune actually people heard earlier in Armin’s ASOT 2011 CD. I first showed Armin a guitar melody and asked if he likes it as an intro for his CD 1. But he had an intro already and asked me to make a tune from it.

12. Your last track of the album, “Scream Dream” with fellow countryman Ilya Soloviev is a huge one indeed. Since you have been working with him and you have seen his abilities and tactics and studio works, do you see Ilya as a future Russian superstar ?

Bobina: Well he’s talented guy for sure. It was quite easy to work with him as we both produce in Ableton Live. So we met actually to make tune “The Light of Freedom” – special Global Gathering anthem. Then after we did it – Iya had an extra day in Moscow and i showed him the melody which I wanted to finish myself as a proggy tune but he said that it will work as uplifting. We did that tune really fast.

13. Tell the readers the best way to stay in tune with everything your doing please.

Bobina: First of all its my Twitter and of course YouTube channel
