Around this time a year ago, a fresh-faced Dj and producer named Danny Chen proved that with the right presentation, people will be willing to listen for what he once gave them for free, therefore several mixes made by him became the most wanted sets on all top major radio shows due to his personal way of mixing and not only. In many ways, Danny is a musically-gifted artist so its New Year’s Day presentation back in 2009 says a lot about him and his mixing skills. Not long time after he started producing his own beats, being already hooked up by several other radio stations too, he already won a huge fan base over his personality, unrefined talent that’s never wasted, working day and night for something that will be his legacy. 1. You are about to release an album called, Back 2 The Future: The Classics 1999-2003 Remixed (Black Hole), early next year correct ?

Cosmic Gate: Yes, that’s right! “Back 2 The Future” is an album with brand-new remixes from our early work dating from 1999 through 2003. We were really happy with the new remixes we received from our DJ and production colleagues, and the mixes we did ourselves to play out also gained huge traction on the dancefloor. The first single, “Exploration Of Space,” is getting a lot of DJ support and it’s exploding on Beatport at the moment. It’s a good start for the album, which will be released worldwide on January 24th, 2011. Read more

1. It’s been more then a year since we have last heard from You Claudia. It seemed to be a sure thing that You were going to appear back again in the spotlight because of Your latest achievements. However, what can You tell me all about it ?

Claudia Cazacu: I had a wonderful year, with 8 original releases, 3 remixes and 2 compilations. It’s been great to see my tracks supported by the big guys at their gigs or radio shows. I had a lot of releases on my label Couture that has been also signed to Spinnin, leaving me to A&R. I was lucky to dj in amazing places like Las Vegas, Ibiza at some amazing parties but the biggest achievement of this year was getting a spot in the Top 100 Djs and I am very grateful to everybody out there who supported me.
